Dip-Dye Tote Bag

Inspired by motifs from the plant world, botanical collections and British horticulture, textile designer Margarete Hausler creates pieces that are fabricated using traditional craft skills. Her Dip-Dye Tote Bag, made of Lithuanian linen, features a hand applied color gradient using dye from mineral pigment. The large tote features leather handles that are long enough to allow you to place the tote over your shoulder for easy carrying. Additionally, the bag is outfitted with a removable small leather purse that is attached by a leather lanyard, offering storage for items that need easy access. Since each piece is made by hand, no two bags feature the exact same coloration which adds to their uniqueness.
