The classic signet ring is reduced to its essence for a decidedly contemporary accessory.

Designed by Dick van Hoff, the Bi Ring is the result of an extruded form where the inner circle of the ring is capped by a raised band. When viewed from above, the sterling silver ring is characterized by the empty space between the bands. The Dutch designer imbues his ring with his characteristic sense of material and form heightened by his passion for combining industrial production with craft-based techniques. From the collection of chp… ?, the revolutionary Dutch jewelry collective founded by Gifs Bakker, the ring evokes the same sense of modernity as the rest of the objects from the design house. For them, unconventional materials and new technologies are brought together to create jewelry that acts as a form of personal communication, intrinsically linked to the body.
