Soapstone is porous by nature, which means it carries its own history in texture and color variation. Tones range from a quiet, sandy beige to deep silvery grey and unexpected passages of bright blue. No two pieces are identical. Because of this porosity, the vase is intended for dry display only and should not come into contact with water or any other liquid.
