Piero Lissoni's 9 Round Side Table arrives at geometry through rigorous reduction. A cylindrical Carrara marble base rises to a slender metal pole, which supports a circular top - the whole composition held in considered tension between weight and lightness.
Two heights allow the table to function as a true side table or a lower accent, each maintaining the same quiet authority. The Carrara marble configuration, offered with a white marble top and base, draws on one of Italy's most storied quarrying traditions. Veining formed over geological time becomes a domestic presence, no two pieces identical.
A second configuration introduces a coffee-toned glass top set in an anthracite aluminum frame, with the Carrara base anchoring a more contemporary material dialogue. The contrast between the warm glass and cool stone reflects Lissoni's characteristic precision in pairing materials across registers.
