Christophe Pillet

Born | France

Christophe Pillet is a French designer whose work spans furniture, product design, interior architecture, scenography, and art direction, always with a language defined by clarity, simplicity, and refinement. He graduated from the Decorative Arts School in Nice in 1985, completed a master's degree at Domus Academy in Milan in 1986, and went on to work in Milan before establishing his own agency in 1993. Across decades of practice, he has built an international reputation for projects that combine formal restraint with sensual elegance.

Pillet has collaborated with leading brands including Cappellini, Driade, Emu, Porro, Lacoste, Daum, and many others, while also shaping hotels, boutiques, and hospitality projects in France and abroad. His work is especially admired for its ability to feel polished without excess, contemporary without severity, and luxurious without effort. Within the Luminaire context, Christophe Pillet stands out for creating furniture and lighting that express quiet confidence, exceptional proportion, and a distinctly French sense of modern sophistication.
