Patricia Urquiola ha ideato la poltrona Ludo Lounge partendo da un’unica e generosa idea: che una sedia debba evolversi con il suo proprietario. Una scocca strutturale supporta un’imbottitura che si stacca completamente, consentendo di sostituire l’intero rivestimento esterno con un unico gesto ponderato. La poltrona non richiede un impegno permanente per un singolo tessuto, finitura o momento nel tempo.
La forma racchiude il calore caratteristico di Urquiola. Le proporzioni morbidamente scolpite attirano il corpo verso l'interno, risultando allo stesso tempo composte e accessibili, una combinazione a cui la designer spagnola, con sede a Milano, torna costantemente nella sua pratica. Non c'è nulla di arbitrario nella silhouette; ogni curva è una risposta studiata a come le persone abitano effettivamente una sedia.
