Enzo Calabrese's Edvige begins with a quiet proposition: that a lamp should follow you, not the other way around. The result is a cordless object in painted aluminum whose geometry reads as sculpture first and light source second.
The cylindrical silhouette is neither minimal to the point of anonymity nor decorative to the point of distraction. Calabrese, long associated with objects that carry both formal discipline and warmth, finds a precise balance here. The painted aluminum surface absorbs and reflects ambient light in equal measure, shifting character across the day.
