Le gambe, tornite in massello di frassino tinto nero, si muovono attraverso una sezione circolare che varia lungo la loro lunghezza, conferendo a ciascuna gamba un'eleganza discreta che le forme puramente rettangolari non possono raggiungere.
Il frassino è un legno dal carattere particolare: a poro aperto, resiliente e reattivo alla tintura in modo da rivelare piuttosto che oscurare la sua venatura naturale. La finitura nera qui ne approfondisce la presenza senza effetti teatrali.
