Lissoni™ Sofa - PL112, 2-seater
Made by Fritz Hansen
Designed by Piero Lissoni
Piero Lissoni approaches furniture the way an architect approaches a façade: every line is load-bearing, every proportion deliberate. The Lissoni Sofa series for Fritz Hansen distills that sensibility into a form that reads as quietly confident rather than declarative.
The PL112 two-seater is wider and deeper than most sofas in its category, a decision that shifts the experience from merely sitting to genuinely inhabiting. The seat depth invites a relaxed posture without sacrificing the crispness of the silhouette viewed from across a room.
- Fiord 2 upholstery in grey, a tightly woven wool blend developed for durability and tonal depth
- Base available in brushed stainless steel or matt steel, each lending a distinct atmospheric quality
- Clean welted seams and precisely mitered cushion corners reflect Lissoni's insistence on construction as detail
Fritz Hansen has manufactured in Denmark since 1872. That continuity of production means each piece carries the benefit of accumulated process knowledge, from frame joinery to final upholstery tension.
