Hita è la seconda collaborazione di Dordoni Studio con Porro, dopo la madia Twin, e ne riprende la stessa sensibilità: un volume esterno continuo che si presenta come scultura prima ancora che come seduta. La silhouette è tesa, persino severa a prima vista, con il tessuto teso saldamente sulla scocca dello schienale.
Il contrasto arriva dall'interno. Una seduta generosamente imbottita ammorbidisce l'esterno rigoroso, creando un dialogo silenzioso tra contenimento e comfort che definisce il carattere della sedia.
La base conica asimmetrica in legno è strutturale e compositiva in egual misura. Il suo meccanismo girevole, disponibile con funzione di ritorno opzionale, mantiene la forma dinamica senza compromettere la precisione complessiva del pezzo. La base affina il peso visivo della sedia, conferendole una qualità aerea nonostante la sua sostanza.
