Belgian designer Sylvain Willenz has built a practice around the quiet transformation of familiar forms. The Torch Light Pendant takes its cue from the archetypal handheld torch, lifting it from the grip and suspending it overhead, where its compact geometry reads as something altogether new.

The lamp is dipped in PVC polymer, giving it a soft, yielding surface that defies expectations on first touch. Clipped within the conical body, a diamond-textured polycarbonate diffuser distributes light evenly across the surface below, pairing functional precision with visual warmth.
