The form is unmistakably organic, its irregular calyx shape suggesting a flower caught mid-bloom rather than a conventional shade.
The paper structure is formed by hand, each sheet pulled and folded through a technique that resists mechanical repetition. No two lamps are identical. Two stainless steel bars run through the center and base of the shade, anchoring the softness of the paper against a precise steel stand. The natural, uncolored paper filters light with the kind of warmth that electric fixtures rarely achieve.
