La sedia Vermelha è nata come un atto di improvvisazione. Fernando e Humberto Campana, lavorando dal loro studio di San Paolo, hanno avvolto circa 500 metri di corda con anima in acrilico attorno a una sottile struttura in acciaio, costruendo la forma tramite accumulo piuttosto che con la costruzione tradizionale.
Ciò che sembra spontaneo è, in realtà, preciso. Ogni ansa è posizionata con intenzione, creando una rete che distribuisce il peso in modo uniforme e avvolge il corpo con una morbidezza inaspettata. La struttura in acciaio scompare sotto la trama, lasciando solo il gesto della corda stessa.
