Thoughts V, Time presenta una figura che tiene in alto un orologio, un gesto che si legge contemporaneamente come offerta ed esame. Il tempo non è qui raffigurato come un'astrazione. Viene tenuto, pesato, considerato.
Fusa in bronzo e rifinita con una ricca patina, la superficie presenta una profondità che cambia con la luce, calda in certi angoli, ombreggiata e contemplativa in altri. La postura è al contempo composta e indagatrice, una qualità a cui Benetti ritorna in tutta la sua opera figurativa.
