Piero Lissoni si è ispirato all'antica tradizione dell'uncinetto di Cantù, città del nord Italia a lungo sinonimo di merletti artigianali, per dar forma alla Mini Tambolo. Il risultato è una sedia da pranzo i cui braccioli portano la memoria di quell'artigianato, intessuti a mano dalle artigiane Bettina Colombo e Agnese Selva dello Studio UNpizzo con una pazienza e una precisione che nessun processo industriale può replicare.
Realizzata per uso esterno, la seduta è formata da schiuma poliuretanica rivestita con un rivestimento in fibra impermeabile, montata su un telaio tubolare in acciaio inossidabile con finitura satinata opaca o verniciata a polvere epossidica color Grigio Canna di Fucile. L'intreccio è offerto in nero, verde o greige, ogni tonalità calibrata per integrarsi discretamente con il cielo aperto, la pietra della terrazza o il verde del giardino.
