The lamp's glass body carries the distilled silhouettes of five historic performance venues: Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Palais Garnier in Paris, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Estates Theater in Prague, and the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.

Each piece is hand-blown in the Czech Republic using oversized wooden moulds. The scale and complexity of the glass require exceptional skill from Lasvit's craftspeople, and the production process is so demanding that this form represents the practical upper limit of what the technique can achieve.
