E005 Embrace Armchair

The Embrace Armchair - E005 - was born from a dialogue between two distinct design sensibilities: the Austrian trio EOOS and the century-old Danish workshop of Carl Hansen & Søn. Conceived in 2015, the chair reconciles modern organic form with a rigorously structured wooden frame, producing something that reads as both relaxed and precise.

The solid wood frame is continuous by design. Legs are not attachments but extensions of the overall silhouette, shaped with finger joints that speak to the workshop's deep history of joinery. The upholstery - soft, body-conforming, and available in leather - wraps the seat and back with a generosity that stands in deliberate contrast to the frame's clarity.
