Luis Arrivillaga ha concepito Ceiba come un oggetto che cattura l'attenzione da ogni angolazione. Quattro elementi in legno di frassino ruotano attorno a un asse centrale, aprendosi e chiudendosi per riconfigurare la silhouette, in modo che il pezzo appaia diverso a seconda di dove ci si trova. Il designer venezuelano, con sede a Milano, si è ispirato alla logica della tradizionale lavorazione del legno, per poi realizzare quelle forme tramite la fresatura CNC, un processo che produce curve lisce e precise dove ogni elemento si unisce. Il risultato porta un calore tattile che smentisce il suo rigore geometrico.
