Il tavolo è interamente realizzato in legno massello, la sua superficie traccia un'ampia ellisse di 140 per 125 centimetri. A 30 centimetri da terra, appartiene inequivocabilmente all'orizzontalità. Le gambe ripetono la geometria ellittica del piano, in modo che la forma si legga come un unico gesto continuo piuttosto che come una struttura di parti assemblate. I bordi rastremati riducono il peso visivo sul perimetro, conferendo alla massa una leggerezza inaspettata.
La finitura laccata nera opaca assorbe la luce anziché rifletterla. Il risultato è un pezzo che tiene il suo posto senza esigere attenzione, ugualmente a suo agio accanto a materiali caldi e naturali o in compagnia di ambienti più austeri.
