La Serie 73 di Omer Arbel nasce da una casualità controllata. Il vetro fuso viene soffiato direttamente in tessuto ceramico piegato e resistente al calore; la superficie tessuta del tessuto si incide permanentemente nel vetro mentre si raffredda. Non esistono due pendenti identici.
Il risultato è un oggetto che si presenta simultaneamente come industriale e organico, portando con sé la memoria della sua creazione. Ogni forma racchiude profondità e ombra all'interno del vetro stesso, in modo che anche spento il pendente abbia una sua presenza. Quando illuminato, la luce si diffonde delicatamente attraverso la texture catturata, producendo un bagliore atmosferico piuttosto che un fascio diretto.
