The Tilos Centre Table belongs to Kettal's Tilos Collection, a body of work rooted in the archetypal outdoor furniture of the 1950s and 1960s. Those pieces, originally woven from bamboo and rattan, carried a particular lightness of form and an ease of silhouette that defined mid-century outdoor living. The Tilos collection does not replicate them. It asks what those forms might become when passed through contemporary industrial processes and advanced material thinking.
Aluminium is the foundation. Worked with precision, it captures the visual rhythm of woven construction while answering the demands of outdoor durability. The result holds a productive tension between the handmade heritage it references and the industrial discipline that shapes it.
