Ionna Vautrin designed the Binic for Foscarini as an object with its own quiet wit. A rounded upper shade sits atop a satin-finished conical base with the casual confidence of something that knows exactly what it is.

The proportions are deliberate. The silhouette reads as almost cartoonish from a distance, yet up close the finish and form reveal considered craft. Downward-directed light pools beneath it, intimate and focused, like a small lighthouse claiming its corner of a room.
