Bac Table
Made by Cappellini
Designed by Jasper Morrison
Jasper Morrison's Bac Table distills the dining table to its purest proposition: four legs, a top, and nothing in excess. The solid ash base carries the quiet confidence of a designer whose practice is built on restraint and proportion over ornamentation.
The base is available in bleached, oak-stained, black-stained, or Shanghai blue finishes. The top, offered in both round and rectangular formats, can match the base finish or arrive in a matt lacquer drawn from Cappellini's full colour palette. Each combination reads differently - the bleached ash with a lacquered top has an airy precision; the black-stained version settles into something more grounded.
Cappellini has long positioned itself at the intersection of Italian production rigour and international design voices. Morrison, whose work spans furniture, product design, and architecture across decades, brings to Bac a sensibility rooted in use: objects that recede into daily life rather than demand attention.
