Sebastian Hepting ha concepito Moodmoon durante la quiete del 2020, quando i confini tra lavoro, riposo e vita si sono ridotti a un'unica stanza. La luna è diventata il suo riferimento: una fonte di luce che cambia carattere attraverso le ore e le stagioni senza mai mutare forma.
Il risultato è una lampada che racchiude quattordici atmosfere luminose programmabili, che vanno da pozze statiche di calma a movimenti lenti e respiratori. La carta Washi, la tradizionale carta giapponese fatta a mano venerata per la sua traslucenza e la sua delicata resistenza, diffonde la fonte LED in qualcosa che si avvicina più alla luce naturale che all'illuminazione artificiale.
