Mod. Progetto
Made by Falper
Designed by Andrea Federici
Mod.

Domande Frequenti
Who designed the Mod. Project kitchen system?
Mod. Project was designed by Andrea Federici, an Italian designer whose practice has a strong focus on compact living and residential efficiency. The system evolved directly from his earlier Small Living Kitchens project, applying the same spatial logic at a higher level of material resolution.
What is Fenix, and why is it used in this kitchen?
Fenix is a next-generation nano-tech laminate produced in Italy, characterized by an ultra-matte surface that resists fingerprints and minor surface scratches through thermal repair. In the Mod. Project, it is used for fronts and island surfaces where both tactile quality and durability under daily use are priorities.
How much space does Mod. Project require?
The system can be configured to function as a complete kitchen within approximately 2.5 square meters. This includes island, snack table, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, and storage, making it suited to apartments, studio residences, and high-end compact developments where floor area is finite.
What two-tone finish combinations are available?
Island tops and sides can be paired with fronts and sideboards in contrasting finishes, including white, solid color, and wood-effect melamines alongside Fenix surfaces. The two-tone logic allows each configuration to carry a distinct chromatic character while the underlying system geometry remains consistent.
What kind of residential projects is Mod. Project designed for?
Falper developed Mod. Project for refined small homes, pied-à-terre residences, and sophisticated multi-unit residential developments where kitchen performance cannot be compromised by spatial constraints. Architects and interior designers frequently specify it for projects where the kitchen must integrate cleanly into an open-plan living area.
