Neoprene is not a material one typically associates with the domestic interior. COVO saw that distance as an opportunity. The Jelly Pouf is constructed entirely by hand from the material, its long fringes cut and assembled to produce something that moves, catches light, and invites touch in equal measure.
The silhouette is cylindrical, anchored, and self-assured. But the fringes introduce a kind of looseness, a visual rhythm that shifts with air currents and the passage of bodies through a room. Soft and slightly ironic, it sits at an intersection of sculpture and utility that is distinctly contemporary Italian in sensibility.
