Neoprene rarely enters the conversation of domestic objects. COVO changes that with the Anemon Pouf, weaving a cord more familiar to wetsuits and athletic gear into something warm, rhythmic, and quietly playful.
Each piece is made by hand. The woven structure exploits neoprene's natural elasticity and resilience, producing a surface that gives slightly underfoot and recovers without losing form. The material also carries an inherent softness - not the softness of upholstery, but of something stretched and alive.
The fringed perimeter draws directly from the morphology of the sea anemone: tentacle-like extensions that move with air currents and invite touch. This is where the object earns its name and its character, turning a functional seating form into something closer to a specimen than a furnishing.
