The Hayama is a bar cabinet that rewards close attention. Its exterior reads as composed and architectural, while the interior opens into something altogether more theatrical - a back mirror amplifying depth, an extra-clear glass shelf catching light, and integrated LED illumination that transforms the act of preparing a drink into a small ceremony.
Cassina conceived Hayama with the rituals of conviviality in mind. The upper cabinet holds glasses, decanters, and bar accessories on a mirrored three-sided surround, while the lower section organizes two central drawers alongside flanking compartments sized for bottles. The flat counter between serves as a preparation surface.
The piece is also available as a cabinet without bar fittings, fitted with two lacquered shelves and the same LED lighting, accommodating tableware or display objects with equal composure. Both versions share a silhouette that holds its presence whether open or closed.
