The Flock of Light series was designed by Studio Toer, an Eindhoven-based design duo known for work that investigates the relationship between light, material, and spatial perception. Their collaboration with Moooi reflects a shared interest in design that sits between function and fine art.

The fixture is built around a branching structure of bronze wires, with each arm ending in a brass-capped LED light source enclosed in a polycarbonate diffuser. The combination of metal and soft diffusing material gives the piece both structural precision and a gentle, warm glow.

Because the Flock of Light 11 is a sculptural suspension piece, it reads best in spaces where its full silhouette can be appreciated from below. Ceilings of at least ten feet are generally recommended, though the drop height is typically adjustable to suit the specific installation.
