Expression Simons - Edizione Stockmans L.

Pieter Stockmans is a Belgian ceramicist who studied and later taught at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Hasselt. His studio practice, based in Genk, is known for its disciplined use of porcelain and a distinctly restrained aesthetic that has earned international recognition among collectors and design institutions.

Raf Simons' Autumn/Winter 2021 ready-to-wear collection explored themes of youth culture, protest, and personal identity through graphic-heavy garments. The imagery and text from that collection form the decorative language applied to these bowls.

Pieter Stockmans' porcelain is food-safe and produced to a high functional standard, though the graphic edition nature of this set makes it equally suited to display as a collector's object.

The Expression Simons/Stockmans set was produced as a defined limited edition in collaboration between the two designers, meaning production quantities are fixed and the edition will not be reprinted or reissued.
