Portacandele Cubiq

The Cubiq features multiple openings sized for different candle types and diameters, including taper, pillar, and votive formats. This allows the piece to function across a range of settings and lighting contexts.

Both marbles are Greek in origin. Dionyssos marble is quarried in Attica near Athens and is prized for its fine grain and white clarity. Tinos marble, from the Cycladic island of Tinos, is distinguished by its green tones and characteristic veining.

Constantinos Hoursoglou is a Greek designer whose work explores the intersection of classical material culture and contemporary geometric form. His objects for Shibui draw on Greece's deep tradition of stone craft.

Marble should be wiped with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid acidic cleaners, which can etch the surface. Wax drips are best removed once hardened, using a gentle plastic scraper rather than metal.

It functions comfortably as both. Its compact cubic form and the contrast between the two marbles give it sufficient presence to stand alone as a sculptural object, while its functional openings make it a practical addition to a dining table, mantle, or shelf.
