I cerchi concentrici sono da tempo una delle geometrie più persistenti della natura, che si irradiano da un singolo punto verso qualcosa di illimitato. VAU posiziona la fiamma in quell'origine, circondandola con livelli crescenti di metallo massiccio lucidato a mano che salgono con gradini deliberati e misurati.
La forma attinge direttamente all'architettura a ziggurat, le strutture templari a terrazze dell'antica Mesopotamia dove ogni strato ascendente portava l'abitante più vicino alla luce e al divino. Qui, la stessa logica ascendente è distillata in un oggetto da tavolo di quieta cerimonia.
