Vaso Cetara

Each Cetara Vase is produced in Murano, Italy, the historic island near Venice that has been the center of European glass artisanship for centuries. The pieces are individually mouth-blown and hand-sculpted, so each carries subtle variations inherent to the process.

Cetara A is the taller of the two forms, rendered in a deep ocean tone with coral champagne banding. Cetara B is shorter and wider, finished in warm amber with the same coral champagne bands. Both are sold separately.

Ivan Baj is an Italian designer whose work frequently engages with traditional craft techniques reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. His collaborations with ARCADE reflect an ongoing interest in material sensitivity and the expressive potential of handmade glass.

The Cetara Vase is primarily designed as a sculptural object. If you intend to use it with fresh flowers and water, it is advisable to consult the care guidelines provided by the manufacturer, as the hand-applied surface treatments may have specific requirements.

Made-to-order production means the vase is crafted after your order is placed rather than shipped from standing inventory. This reflects the artisanal nature of mouth-blown Murano glass and ensures each piece receives individual attention during fabrication.
