VAU

VAU is a Croatian design brand launched in 2018 by PES, a family-led creative workshop for metal objects based in Zagreb, where each piece is still made in-house with a careful balance of traditional craftsmanship and modern production. Inspired by universal symbols such as the merkaba, the golden ratio, pyramids, and concentric circles, the brand creates home decor, desktop objects, and jewelry that bring a sense of calm, beauty, and intention to everyday rituals. Its pieces, including the Curve letter opener, Oroborus necklace, and Merkaba paperweight, are defined by sculptural form, tactile weight, and a quiet visual clarity that feels both contemporary and timeless. The result is a collection of objects that adds meaning, presence, and refined simplicity to the spaces and routines of daily life.
