El reloj de péndulo de pie Tiuku, del diseñador finlandés Ari Kanerva, transforma la estructura convencional del reloj de pie en la representación urbana ideal de utilidad y consistencia. Desafiando las tradiciones ornamentales y decorativas originales de estos objetos, el diseño evita lo superfluo y se centra en la forma minimalista que nace de la función del reloj. Tiuku, que significa "campana" en finlandés, está hecho de metal y se yergue sobre dos patas distintivas de más de 1,80 metros de altura, en un diseño lúcido que conserva los elementos de la eficiente artesanía intrínseca a los cronómetros colgantes. El imponente reloj de péndulo, con su suave tacto metálico y su peculiar altura, se inclina en ángulo al colocarlo en la pared y atraerá la atención y animará cualquier espacio con su diseño y color únicos. El reloj negro presenta un péndulo oscilante blanco; los relojes blancos y naranjas presentan un péndulo oscilante negro.

  • A new version of the pendulum clock, an useful object, simple but, at the same time, able to furnish any place, public or private
  • The clocks body is powder coated sheet steel that is laser cut and bent, which stiffens the legs and creates a three-dimensional object from the two-dimensional sheet
  • Tiuku MUST BE mounted to the wall with two screws and remains leaning at a slight angle when installed
  • Mounting the clock to the wall ensures that the pendulum mechanism in the back is at the right angle in order to activate the swing
  • One AA Battery powered (not included)
  • Mounting hardware not included
