Diseñado originalmente en 1968, el Steel Pipe Drink Trolley, de Shiro Kuramata, sigue siendo sorprendentemente contemporáneo, un reflejo de la investigación en la que la forma y la función son inmediatamente evidentes, pero contrastadas por la estética refinada del célebre diseñador que, aquí, hace una clara referencia a las curvas del Sofá Con Brazos.

Gracias a la colaboración de décadas con Shiro Kuramata, tras su paso por la fundación homónima dedicada a continuar los estudios filológicos de los innumerables proyectos del artista y diseñador, en 2014 nació un nuevo objeto sorprendentemente sencillo e intuitivo: un carrito con ruedas con estructura de tubos de hierro barnizados con polvo epoxi negro mate y estantes de laminado blanco, con carritos negros mate y ruedas de plástico gris, ideales para superficies delicadas. Este icónico proyecto está disponible en los tonos que más caracterizan las obras del diseñador.
