Description

La arquitectura es la característica principal de este jarrón, diseñado por Bodil Kjær a principios de la década de 1960 y fabricado por Cassina. Está hecho de vidrio transparente, lo que realza la compleja forma del objeto, similar a la de un rascacielos.

El Rascacielos está hecho de un material de vidrio transparente prensado mecánicamente en un molde de hierro fundido para crear la forma de un edificio. Además, debe procesarse a temperaturas extremadamente altas para que sea lo más fluido posible y se adhiera a la forma del molde. Para recrear los detalles arquitectónicos del Rascacielos, el vidrio debe calentarse a temperaturas muy altas.
