De forma misteriosa y escultural, el calzador de madera maciza de Nendo, elaborado con maestría para el artesano japonés Maruni, no revela su verdadera función hasta que interactúas con él. Como su nombre indica, los calzadores se fabricaron inicialmente tallando cuernos de animales; el movimiento de corte de este calzador rinde homenaje a sus orígenes. La pieza consta de dos partes, unidas por un imán de neodimio integrado. La parte funcional del calzador se separa fácilmente de la base con una sola mano. El artículo está tallado en un solo bloque de arce para preservar la continuidad de la veta de la madera.

  • The shoehorn can be removed with one hand; the stand is weighted for proper resistance
  • When you lift the top part of the cone, the shoehorn comes away with a conic section
  • The shoehorn and stand, connected by an embedded neodymium magnet, are carved from a single block of wood for complete continuity of the wood grain
  • Made of maple with a urethane finish
