Con una superficie ondulada de acero inoxidable altamente reflectante, el Plato Serenity de Zaha Hadid traslada las complejas formas futuristas de los edificios de la renombrada arquitecta a la mesa. Imitando las sinuosas exploraciones que la convirtieron en una de las arquitectas más notables de nuestro tiempo, la pieza central logra una dinámica sensación de movimiento que parece desafiar las leyes de la física. Acabado en acero inoxidable pulido a espejo, el plato refleja y distorsiona el entorno, afirmando su presencia en el espacio, tal como lo hace la arquitectura de Hadid. La fallecida arquitecta desafió la noción de lo que la arquitectura podría ser. Durante más de 30 años, la diseñadora, nacida en Irak y residente en Londres, aportó su característica exuberancia arquitectónica a numerosos proyectos destacados en todo el mundo y fue reconocida con el Premio Pritzker de Arquitectura, así como con la Medalla de Oro del RIBA, entre otros reconocimientos. Esta misma energía que marcó su carrera se traslada al Plato Serenity, que ofrece una reflexión sobre su filosofía estética, a la vez que cumple una función funcional en el hogar.
