Una interpretación de la vajilla funcional para la cocina y el servicio, las bandejas Seasons de Nao Tamura se inspiran en la naturaleza y la tecnología desde la perspectiva cultural de Japón. Como una hoja real, cada plato es flexible y tiene su propia forma, lo que da lugar a un accesorio multiusos y escultural. Las bandejas de silicona, ganadoras del premio Salone Satellite en el Salón Internacional del Mueble de Milán 2010, se inspiran en la forma y el papel de la hoja en la cultura culinaria, haciendo referencia en particular a los rituales que rodean la hora de comer en Japón, la patria de la diseñadora. El material elegido para las bandejas también cobra una gran relevancia para el diseño, no solo por los procesos de bajo consumo energético necesarios para su fabricación, sino también por su capacidad para enrollarse, envolverse y doblarse según el plato que se sirva.

  • Each leaf is slightly unique in form and is flexible enough to be rolled-up, wrapped and folded according to the dish being served
  • Each set - available in two sizes - is comprised of four trays
  • Made of silicone, the trays are extremely durable and may be heated, frozen or washed in a dishwasher
