Una interpretación de la vajilla funcional para la cocina y el servicio, la Bandeja Grande Seasons de Nao Tamura se inspira en la naturaleza y la tecnología desde la perspectiva cultural japonesa. Al igual que sus hermanas menores, esta bandeja grande se asemeja a una hoja real; es flexible y se adapta a su propia forma, convirtiéndose en un accesorio para servir multiusos y escultural.

El objeto de silicona, ganador del premio Salone Satellite en el Salone Internazionale del Mobile de Milán 2010, está inspirado en la forma y el papel de la hoja dentro de la cultura de la comida, en particular haciendo referencia a los rituales que rodean la hora de la comida en Japón, la tierra natal del diseñador.

El material elegido para la bandeja también cobra mucha relevancia en el diseño, no sólo en los procesos de bajo consumo energético necesarios para su fabricación, sino también en su comportamiento donde las bandejas son capaces de enrollarse, envolverse y doblarse según el plato que se sirva.
