My New Flame reproduce fielmente la simple pero infinitamente compleja llama de una vela utilizando 256 LED de alta calidad. Este objeto, puro y minimalista, cuenta con una placa de circuito impreso con la última tecnología de microprocesadores, que se combina con los LED para evocar el flujo y el parpadeo naturales. Vista a corta distancia, la luz es indistinguible de la real, gracias a la perfecta coincidencia del color de los LED. Una inspección más detallada revela el encanto de baja resolución de la pantalla digital.

La luz parpadeante se captura a partir de un vídeo de una vela real, y un algoritmo aleatorio inteligente garantiza que la secuencia de movimientos nunca se repita para recrear fielmente el comportamiento natural. Gracias a su base metálica con pilas recargables, la luz puede usarse sin cable, lo que permite colocarla en cualquier lugar de la casa.
