La Silla Canguro, parte de la Colección Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret de Cassina, es una obra maestra del diseño de mobiliario contemporáneo. Sus líneas elegantes, su estética minimalista y su impecable artesanía demuestran el compromiso de Cassina con la creación de piezas atemporales, elegantes y funcionales.

Cassina ha ampliado su investigación sobre el mobiliario de Chandigarh e introducido el sillón bajo Kanga-roo en su Colección Homenaje a Pierre Jeanneret. Esta colección destaca por sus formas fundamentales y materiales sencillos, una armoniosa fusión de principios europeos modernos y la cultura tradicional india. El sillón bajo se diseñó inicialmente para el Hospital General de la ciudad, pero desde entonces se ha instalado en numerosos hogares. Su distintiva forma de "Z" está formada por una serie de tres elementos coplanares casi triangulares colocados en una secuencia continua. La estructura de madera está tejida con un patrón típico en el asiento y el respaldo.
