Al plegar acero plano con patrones geométricos en formas esféricas, Nendo crea elementos de iluminación que transmiten sensación de movimiento. Las lámparas Dancing Squares parecen rodar, pero son estables gracias a sus planos y proyectan luz en diferentes direcciones con su singular patrón de llenos y vacíos. Profundamente conceptuales, las formas resultantes son una unidad poética de escultura lúdica y diseño funcional. Originalmente concebidas como parte de la exposición "Dancing Squares" del diseñador japonés en 2011, estas lámparas se han puesto en producción gracias a su exitoso diseño. Disponibles en tres tamaños (34, 54 o 74 cm de alto), cuentan con un cable de 75" que puede conectarse directamente para usarse como lámpara de suspensión o con el enchufe incluido para usarla como lámpara de pie o de mesa.

  • The dancing square lamps play with shape and light - a sphere is made from a series of squares resulting in solids and voids that allow light to pass through in a playful manner
  • The pieces appear to be frozen in time and space and at times they defy physics, warranting an inquisitive look and a tentative touch.
  • Versatile enough to be placed on the floor or hung from the ceiling, each lamp is complete with a 75 inch cord that may be hardwired to the ceiling or adapted with the included plug to be used as a floor lamp and plugged into the wall
