Crevasse, un jarrón tallado a partir de un único bloque de acero y marcado a lo largo de dos líneas diagonales, de Zaha Hadid para Alessi crea una superficie deformada e invertida. Con una fuerza similar a la de una grieta ártica, las paredes retorcidas acentúan la verticalidad de la creación de Hadid. Acabado con un pulido de espejo, la fría perfección del objeto evoca el reflejo de la nieve perpetua.

Crevasse se infunde con la estética intensa y profundamente cerebral de Hadid, creando un objeto funcional que refleja la filosofía de la diseñadora. Ensamblados en grupos, los jarrones se unen y combinan para crear formas sólidas. Por sí solo, el jarrón es visualmente impactante, impactando dondequiera que se coloque.
