Davide Groppi’s newest design, like a bud, appears to emerge from the ground. Introduced on May 14, 2020 during a dedicated digital event, Origine tells the story of the man’s eternal thrust with respect to the universe, a stretched-out light that explores the infinite. A delicate, ultra-thin stem rises to the sky, and becomes increasingly thinner, stretched out, appearing to vanish into the air. An elegant tool to continue the eternal dialogue between accent lighting and indirect lighting.

Designed to illuminate the façades of buildings as well as internal spaces with purity and personality, Origine sculpts and enhances every environment with its indirect light. It’s innovative design is intentionally non-invasive and graphic, providing a mysteriously elegant and sophisticated ambient light. Featuring elements in fiberglass and metal, the ethereal needle-like light erects from a round base that holds the thin stem housing a simple strip of LED. Slated to be released during Milan Design Week, Groppi unveiled the light in a virtual presentation.
