Luminaire journeys once more to the annual Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan to explore the best in contemporary design. Follow us throughout the Salone fair week to experience the thrill of discovering new design April 14th – 19th, 2015. Our annual exploration to one of the most important design events of the year allows us to connect with design luminaries and scope new products. For the past 16 years, Luminaire has been the sole US sponsor of the prestigious designreport award supporting young talents at the SaloneSatellite. We are including regular updates to our home page as well as live reporting of our favorite moments from the city’s design events via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The Salone is the global benchmark for the Home Furnishing sector that first made its first appearance in 1961, with the aim of promoting Italian furniture and accessories to the export market. While it has continued to do this, it has exponentially grown to encompass design from all over the world, acting as the primary platform for the brightest stars of the international design community and serving as an invaluable source of inspiration for the thousands of people who visit each year.
