The newest incarnation of Outdoor Therapy is in addition to our oasis inside Luminare Lab in Miami’s Design District. The newly opened space allows for a transformational, focused experience unlike any other. Aiming to engage visitors with a carefully curated selection of the best in contemporary outdoor furniture, the outdoor area reinforces the company’s founding principle that good design is a way of life and demonstrates that this concept should exist in both interior and exterior space. The first installation features the newest outdoor collection from Flexform which blurs the lines between indoors and out by reinterpreting iconic design’s from the Italian brand’s indoor collection into newly engineered designs meant for outdoor.
This outdoor collection is informed by the same design traits found in its interior furnishings. The timeless sophistication and unrivaled comfort that have consistently distinguished Flexform’s interior offerings are now reflected in a collection of outdoor furnishings that embodies the company’s ability to instill robust design values in products of the highest quality and durability.
Additionally, the dynamic space features a unique outdoor kitchen that is characterized by high-quality, solid craftsmanship and pared down aesthetic. The modular components of the kitchen systems seamlessly integrate together to create functional areas to prepare and cook your next outdoor meal. The customizable kitchen systems can expand to be as elaborate or as minimal as your space requires. Each system features simple modules containing functional elements such as a sink, grill, cooking tops and storage space that can be configured in a variety of ways to best suit the user’s needs. The modular system is built with ultimate flexibility, limited only by your creativity, to compose the ideal outdoor kitchen.
Outdoor Therapy offers a singular experience, uniting furniture, lighting, kitchens, and accessories in an environment that taps into your inner passion for the outer world. It also represents Luminaire’s continued pursuit of creating environments that affect people’s lives. Outdoor therapy is one part of a three-year initiative to expand our research into good design which culminated in our newest expansion at Coral Gables.
