On April 28, Luminaire in collaboration with FourTwoNine magazine hosted creative influencers Claire Breukel, Winka Dubbeldam, Felice Grodin, Rene Gonzalez, and Bryan Thompson for an interactive discussion exploring the subjects of architecture, art, design and social responsibility. In partnership with and produced by FourTwoNine, the event is part of a talk and film series that serve as a platform to bring awareness and shed light on important topics in the design community.
Throughout the day, the talented and renowned group that included two architects, an art curator, multimedia artist, and an automotive designer explored the Luminaire Lab showroom, speaking about their experience as a creative in their field, their inspirations, and how they strive to create work that gives back to the world and society. Luminaire Lab served as an inspiring backdrop for individual interviews which gave further insight into each of the panelists? respective field, their background, and responsibility as an artist.
In the early evening, guests gathered in Lab’s Paola Lenti exhibit for an intimate talk with the five panelists led by founding editor of award-winning publication Clear Magazine, Ivana Kalafatic. Kalafatic guided the discussion into an organic and compelling conversation exploring the perspective of what it means to be socially responsible in the world today.
After the talk, the panelists engaged in questions with the audience that was followed by a cocktail reception where guests interacted one-on-one with the panel as well as the FourTwoNine and Luminaire team.
