In celebration of NeoCon 2025, Luminaire partnered with Bocci to host an exclusive evening at its River North showroom—honoring two decades of the lighting brand’s experimental approach to design and unveiling the new 141 pendant, conceived under the direction of Bocci’s co-founder and creative visionary, Omer Arbel.
Titled “Light Years”, the event welcomed members of the design community, architects, and press for a night of conversation, cocktails, and illumination. Bocci’s newest creation, the 141 pendant, was unveiled in the showroom’s immersive environment—blurring the boundaries between sculpture, craft, and light.
Founded in Vancouver and Berlin, Bocci has continually pushed the frontier of lighting innovation through its deeply conceptual and materially sensitive approach. This milestone marks not only the brand’s 20th anniversary, but also the strength of its creative partnership with Luminaire, a company equally committed to elevating design culture in North America.

The event drew leading voices from Chicago’s design and architecture scene, offering an opportunity to experience Bocci’s ethereal collection in a setting that emphasized narrative, texture, and tactility.
